Q: What is the ratio of coaches to campers?
A: Each camp varies a bit, but regardless which camp or training sessions we’re talking about, the ratio is roughyl 5:1 campers to coaches. Anyone who has been to our camps before will tell you that we are definitely not understaffed and that the camps are very organized.
Q: Who are the coaches at these camps?
A: Our camps are directed by longtime BU asst Ryan Hurba and his right hand man is BU asst Mike Folli. Most of the other coaches are either current or former BU Baseball players that still live in the area and current or former college players that reside in the area during the off-season.
Q: What kinds of teaching can I expect?
A: The teaching will be very hands on and will be done in small groups. The idea behind the camp is to try and create a very positive teaching atmosphere where the campers will feel comfortable around the coaches and each other.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A. Youth camps (little league aged – modified aged): refunds will be given (for valid reasons) in the form of a Crack of the Bat credit toward a future camp.
High school prospect camp series (grades 9-12):
No refunds will be given. If a player is unable to attend camp, a camp credit will be permitted if an email or text request is received 3 days prior to the beginning of a camp/clinic. The camp credit will be valid for another Crack of the Bat Prospect Camp in the future (camps held in January also).
